About Us
Here is our shameless self-promotion page. You can click our names if you would like to email us directly. But first, a little about our site. If you’ve had a problem with your computer, camera, iPod, or phone, chances are you’d go to your friend who knows a lot about that stuff. Well, we’re that friend! For years, we’ve been helping people with their tech issues and now, we want to help you. We have new stories about the latest computers, gadgets, technology and the internet that directly affects you! Our goal is to translate detailed technology and gadget news to something easily digestible with meaning. You can also think of us as tech support… for free! But enough about the site… more about us!

Kurt - Founder of technewsmadesimple.com as well as pacozorro.com. I started blogging random tech news and random tech/geek videos on pacozorro.com until everything came together and decided to build this site to help others understand technology better than just turning something on and using it. I am a biochemist by training and work for a pharmaceutical company full time. I love tech/gadgets and read, eat (I love to eat!), and sleep them when I am not doing science. I am an avid fan of video games (World of Warcraft for the Horde!) and when I am not working or blogging, I’m usually playing :)

Dave - Dave has worked professionally in IT fields since 1997, but started working with computers at the age of eight. He has worked as an IT professional, an IT instructor, and everything in between. Currently he has left the professional field to pursue a career as a professional poker player, but still maintains tech partnerships and is keeping in touch with the wonderful world of technology. Dave has a degree in New Media, and is an amateur photographer/videographer. In his spare time, he has operated a sports themed blog under the pseudonym “Big D” since late 2003, and is a frequent contributor to other sites within the wide world of the blogosphere.

Andrew - Born somewhere between Exit 5 and 8 on the New Jersey Turnpike, Andrew grew up always on the road. After a long stint as a Limeaid vendor along the 695 beltway in Baltimore, (and before Limeaid became a stable drink choice of countless Sonic Drive In customers) Andrew moved on, attempting to broaden his repertoire at Penn State University. It was here he became engulfed in computers, spending a good portion of his prime shirtless with Doritos running down his mildly-hairy belly, when he should have been out trying to continue his family’s reign on this earth. Unfortunately for him, but fortunately for you readers, he did not leave that chair very often. Now you can look forward to his unfamiliar writing style. (As in he doesn’t have one.)

Corey - When he’s not moonlighting as a super hero with a poorly assembled cape, Corey operates as a software application developer for the United States Air Force. His chief professional interests include Flash development and 3D modeling. He holds a BFA in the Multimedia Arts, but has been mentally wired as a programmer since middle school. Personal interests include Rock Band, disc golf, and counting the hairs that fall out of his head as he begins to fall towards 30. Corey can also be seen at his website - coreyoneil.com
