iFlickr?

The name should say it all. More and more websites have finally learned that the web is shifting to robust mobile versions of sites, allowing users to do anything they would normally do from their PC’s now from their mobile phones.

The latest example is today’s news from Wired.com that Flickr, the personal photo album sharing arm of Yahoo’s web-empire, has launched a completely mobile version of their website at m.flickr.com. The site is optimized for the iPhone, but after surfing through the site on my phone earlier today (a Windows Pocket PC, running Windows Mobile version 5), the mobile Flickr worked just fine.

Admittedly, the iPhone version of the site probably has more features that are specifically designed for the Apple, but for any mobile photo sharing needs, this new Mobile Flickr looks promising.
