Gogo Gadget Wifi!
As reported on Engadget, frequent fliers may soon get to use WiFi while they fly the sunny skies. American Airlines will be doing a test run tomorrow of its Gogo service on a flight from JFK to LAX. Which flight? American’s not telling, but it’s an exciting prospect for countless airborne commuters who don’t have cellular internet cards. But expect to pay for it, with a flat rate of $9.95 for flights under 3 hours, and $12.95 for flights longer than that. So if you’re hopping on a puddle jumper for a quick half hour trip, keep the laptop in its case.
